uTorrent is now owned by BitTorrent which is know for monitoring downloading habbits of users then turning their stats into the RIAA. Thus if you download illegal material like mp3s then know uTorrent could be monitoring you and be reporting you to the RIAA.

Fact is if you download legal material any torrent client will work but if you care about privacy and/or download illegal material this should be avoided at all costs unless you know how to stop them from monitoring you and most don't.

Best:

Small in size
Low on resources
Easy to use
Ability to select which items to download
Free

Worst:

Privacy concerns
Monitors your downloading habbits
Owned by BitTorrent
